The Guitar Jams in Heaven Just Got Even Better

Les Paul, the man who "was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar", "Paul was dissatisfied with the acoustic guitars that were sold in the mid 1930s and began experimenting with a few designs for an electric model on his own. Famously, he created 'The Log,' which was nothing more than a length of common 4" x 4" lumber with bridge, guitar neck, and pickup attached." (Wikipedia), died this morning at age 94.

Here he is, at age 82, playing the hell out of the instrument he helped create:

I still enjoy my old Les Paul and Mary Ford cd's. He was so much more talented and influential than Michael jackson, but, only gets a side note in the news.
I am trying to get Michael to watch Torchwood. I think he would like it. I checked out their website.

Have a great weekend. Go out and have some fun.

Les Paul was a driving force in music. I hope he is catching up with all those that went before him.

What a genius! And this with a fused elbow (set in guitar-playing position at the time of his accident) and arthritis which all but eliminated the movement of his fingers...

R.I.P., Mr. Paul.
