The obstruction continues in the Senate, as the Repubs filibuster Sen. Jim Webb's (D-VA) Troop protection amendment.
Attention all Americans! Please take note that the Republicans have blocked an amendment that would reinvigorate the fighting morale of the US military!
And, at the same time, note that the following seven did manage to put the needs of the troops ahead of politics:
Norm Coleman, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, John Sununu, Chuck Hagel, Gordon Smith and John Warner.
Also note the Joe Lieberman (I[diot] - CT) voted against cloture. Does Connecticut not have measures for recall? And if not, why won't someone in the CT legislature propose measures to that effect?
Contact your Senators and express your opinions!
