Picture of the Day

I have no idea what's going to happen in Iran, but I can't help but believe that this:

will one day be seen as a beginning.

Let's hope the outcome is positive.

I was listening today to the editor of the Jerusalem Post. I had not realized that both candidates in Iran are actually approved by the Grand Cleric before they can be put on the ballot. So, I guess what is happening now is a great start, and it will be woo-worthy to the max when a true reform candidate can run without having permission to even be there :)

Yeah, the opposition leader is a conservative..that doesn't sound hopeful to me.

But the pictures of thousands and thousands does give me hope. Hope that Obama has been stomping on since he tossed the LGBT community under the damn bus.

Dusty, you're so right; Obama might as well not be in office as far as my daughter is concerned.

But Bob, this is indeed amazing, and if you can believe it, this is the first picture I've seen of the present goings-on.

I can't help but wonder what the Bush Administration's reaction would have been to such apres-election demonstrations, and have no faith that it would have been as patient and "democratic."
