As you can see, it's getting pretty shiny. I'm trying to decide if I want to add any more coats of poly. Since we're going to be using this as a dining table I want it to be well protected, but I don't want so much poly that the surface feels "plastic".And one photo of the afternoon sky:

ReplyDeleteWow; the grain of that wood is beautiful! I've always loved a lovely grain over a painted surface any day. To me it's a heartier, more soulful thing. I guess that's why I like antiques rather than new furniture.
